My name is Bhavesh Patel. I was born in Mumbai (Bombay),India. I immigrated to US in 1998 and since then have been living/working in Silicon Valley.
I am happily married to my beautiful wife Mital and have a 4-yr old son named Yatrik .
I am a computer geek. I like to hack(not crack) GNU/Linux and other Free software, apart from evangelism of Free software. I am a strong believer in Free Software and disruptive technologies like peer-to-peer,distributed computing etc.
I'm a software development manager(true geek at heart, but manager at work ;-) ) at BMC Software in Silicon Valley.I'm the development manager for BMC's Atrium CMDB
As for my education, I completed my Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Thadomal Shahani Engineering College, Mumbai(Bombay) , India.
As far as hobbies are concerned I do not have one except computers. I spend most of the time of my day/night in front of a computer.
